Cool Crisp Fall

I'm loving our sunny days we're having right now.  Doesn't seem so much like November.  But Thanksgiving is just around the corner.   EEEK then comes YOU KNOW WHAT.......   We are scrapping Wednesday!   I know I have so many things to work on for swaps I can't figure out where to begin.  Hope to see you!

Rest REst REST!!!!

Rest up for scrapping this Wednesday we're going to get together as usual and work on all of our outstanding projects.  Including starting our Halloween Swap Tags.  We have 5 people signed up but your packets have 6 tags so no worries one can be just of you or in case you make a mistake(I know we don't make mistakes!). 

Christine yours is coming in the mail this week.

Halloween Is Coming! SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!

It is and will come and go faster than we think!  So at this late date I propose a chipboard mini album/tag page swap to start using up some of those Halloween items we've been stashing away!  Don't say your not stashing these adorable goodies because I know you are, and BUDDY I totally am!  HA

So here's how it will go down.  This will be a small swap we'll limit it to max 6 players.  When you sign up I will give you 6 chipboard tags(they will be small as to not overwhelm).  You will decorate both sides of the chipboard Halloweenie inspired.  Each tag should have 1 journaling area, a pocket, at least one item 3D and fibers and or ribbon.   I also challenge you to add some Bling to the project and will give everyone including BLING a little prize.  Each page should be similar in layout and design.  When the swap ends you will get back 1 of your own pages and a max of 5 other pages to create your mini book or you could use these as tags on goodies for the holiday.  Sounds fun right!  I know I'm excited! So we'll have a short sign up deadline as I'll probably start calling people telling them to sign up shortly!   HA  Deadline to sign up 9/27/10.   Tags should be to me by 10/20/10 and I will get them back to you by 10/22/10.  Which is by the way the crop at CraftFancy we are attending everyone is invited to come and play!  Just contact the store to sign up!

Ok so on that note we are scrapping this week so I hope to see you all working on your latest projects!

"Lightbulb"

Ok so my children love to say "lightbulb" when they have an idea.  It's very funny.  What is not funny is my jones for these lightbulp pendants.  I must put a light like this in my house somehwere.  I'm currently obsessed with The Brass Petal blog by Emily the new Design Star.

 I digress I meant to say we are scrapping this Wed.  and Happy Labor Day!  Hopefully this link and photo will inspire you to jones for something......I mean, to create!

Back to School & Back to Scrapping!

Well even if we can't have this space to work in we can get together and work.  A bit later this week though I have a parent orientation at school until 7:15 so say around 7:30ish.  Hope to see you.

It's getting hot and steamy out there!  Ice Cream Inspiration will cool us down though!  YUM-O  So hopefully we can all be inspired by something cool and creamy this week when we Scrap!

We're scrapping this week.  The challenge is to add some greenery to your project.  Leaves, plants, flowers, trees, grass etc. etc. etc.   It's that time of year everything is green and lush we can reflect that in our Art!

Sunny Sunny Day!

 

Finally it's sunny and summer!  To that end we are Scrapping this Wednesday!  Bring a Summery Fun Project to work on!  WOOOOO HOOOOO!

Finally the Pool Boy delivered the drinks!

I know I know I'm behind!  I'm sorry!  I so love the bright summery colors in this photo.  Is that my mumu I see sitting over there?  Hmmmmmmm.   Anyway it's time to get to work tonight maybe we can create with these colors!!!!!

Happy Memorial Day! Better Late Than Never!

We had some cool ocean breezes!!!!!  I think I would put my scrap table right there between the couches!  Talk about inspiration!   One more week and school will be out!  I know you have projects that need to be completed before this date!  Join us and play Wednesday evening!. 

Phew already!

So pretty I don't know about you but I'm ready to sit by the pool and have someone deliver me drinks?  And we've only had three 90 degree days!  HA  So with the air cranked up we will be scrapping/crafting Wed. night.  Bring your latest project and we'll see what we can get done!

We are scrapping this Wed.  That is if Dianne and I aren't totally exhausted from our trip to see Tim Holtz?  We're going to learn lots of new things I just know it!

Rain Rain go Away!

It's making me BLUE and since I'm blue I thought we could all be inspired by it! 

We are scrapping this week.  No real challenge I'm sure we all have tons to work on!  We of course try to do our one b-day card and holiday card each week. 

I have to thank Alice and Dianne so much for helping me by decorating all my suckers for the party last week.  I'm sure I would still be working on them today if you hadn't!

Chick Chick Chick!

Awwww Easter is almost here!  So I'm going to make a Grassy Challenge for us this Wednesday.  How about we add a bit of grass and or moss ot our project.  Anything fresh and green!   It is supposed to get warm here by Wednesday so lets all cross our fingers.
